Everywhere I walk along the lakes at Magnolia Gardens, I find pictures to take.  Nature's unending tapestry.

A year later, another trip to the fascinating and beautiful Sheldon Church Ruins near Beaufort, S.C.    Last summer, I waited in my car 20 minutes for a huge thunderstorm to let up.  This time, it was clear, warm and sunny.   And there were about seven of us on a trip to Savannah.  We threw the frisbee, took pictures and marveled at the peace and loveliness of the setting.

The cumulus clouds the other week at Charles Towne Landing were phenomenal.  Summer at it's peak.

This lone, abandoned building was once the heart of Trio, S.C. long ago.  There's a convenience store/service station across the road now.   This building was the post office, general store, and bank.   The road beside it leads deep into the countryside to some truly beautiful and empty areas of rural Williamsburg County.

An abandoned house, a large oak tree and a country road -- I stumbled on this scene, stopped the car and took photographs, and told myself that I must return here to capture this landscape again, in each of the seasons that follow.
